Common requests

Most messages we get fall into one of these buckets, so here's what to expect for each:

• Bug reports — we usually reproduce and fix within a week, and push the fix live as soon as it passes testing. If a timer behaves oddly for you, telling us the exact URL, browser and steps makes a fix dramatically faster.
• Feature requests — we keep a backlog and pick the most requested ideas each month. Sound alerts, shareable timer links and saved presets are the current front-runners.
• School and workplace use — teachers and trainers often ask about using the tools in classrooms or meetings. Everything is free and unlimited for that; no licence or permission needed. A short note about how you use it is always appreciated, though.
• Advertising questions — we run ads to keep the tools free. If you have a question about an ad you saw, include a screenshot and the page URL; we forward policy complaints to the ad network.
• Privacy requests — we answer every data request personally. If you want to know what data we hold about you (usually nothing beyond anonymised analytics), email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days as required by GDPR.

Who you're writing to

StopwatchHQ is built and maintained by a small team of engineers who got tired of ad-bloated timer sites. Every email is read by a human — the same people who write the code and the guides on this site. There is no call centre and no ticket queue, so if you write to us, you're talking to the people who can actually fix the thing.
